Most retailers are looking for a Point of Sale application that will allow them to make changes and updates dynamically. The BPM tools and methodology are ideal for this type of application management.
Retailer also want software that has most of the compliance factors already built in. Things like PCI-DSS, Sox compliance, etc, are very big in the mind of most retaillers. Point of Sale software vendors that want to win business from retailers need to be aware of these compliance requirements
PCI Compliance Deadline - December 2007
Visa changed all that when it announced a compliance acceleration program last December aimed at larger retailers. It set a Sept. 30 deadline for compliance aimed at level one merchants, those that process more than 6 million credit card transactions per year. Level two merchants, which process between 1 million and 6 million transactions annually, must be compliant by Dec. 31.

Aussie Rules
In this case, I mean rules for getting your Android project set up for use both via Eclipse and command-line Ant. Daniel Ostermeier and Jason Sankey from Sydney run the Android-dense a little madness, and lay the rules out in Setting Up An Android Project Build. Lots of steps; but very handy for a command-line guy like me.
